a pub called the .. i think seven sisters ... if u head straight up thro a'dam from the train station .. its a long walk but the trams go close, will hold a fair amount of people .. they have big'ish area up a step inside ..

we used it on the HR meet in a'dam.

recommend it, as its off the tourist track.

Walking

The Tara can be found close to Dam Square - the very centre of bustling Amsterdam - a short walk from Central Station, Rembrandts Plein and Leidse Plein.

Trams

The Number 4, 9 ,14, 16, 24 and 25 trams stop close to The Tara at the Rokin stop. Trams run from approximately 7:30 am until Midnight. Tickets can be purchased from the tram driver or in a strip from newsagent/tobacconists at a reduced price.

Taxis

The main taxi rank at Dam Square is only 2 minutes walk away.
Taxis can also be ordered via the bartender.

Trains

Central Station (direct line to Schiphol Airport) is about 10 minutes walk.
Buy a ticket before boarding or you may face a hefty fine.

Parking

There is a car park directly outside the Tara. Approximately once per decade
a space on the street may also be found.

ridiculous time, you can count me out. my last train leaves at 23:00 or so, and i'm not sitting 4h in the train in total to be able of drinking beer with you lot for just 2 hours. not everyone lives in the west you know...
