so anyway im looking for a change of location; new faces, places, etc.

basicly i'm asking for you to sell a town/city to me (not liverpool or near liverpool) because i have no idea where to go. i'm currently in bury north manchester.

help would be muchly appreciated

There are loads of pubs, yes, but Durham is probably the worst town I know if you like clubbing, and that includes other North East shitheaps like Darlington and Boro.

What's wrong with Liverpool?
Edinburgh is the prettiest, and probably the friendliest, city in the UK.

Just do a trip around the UK and decide for yourself.

good Imperial architecture but the stone is the wrong colour.

edinburgh is grand but dark. liverpool has a better quality stone with equally grand Imperial architecture.

but only bath and oxford are truly beautiful towns.

personally for him my advice would be Brighton. It is very difficult to be depressed in Brighton and the job opportunities are more his line of work I imagine.

they are both delicate subtle and light. architecture that is the stuff of dreams: a palace rather than a castle.

quaint would be the tumble down wattle and daub thatched cottage villages of the cotswolds and east anglia.

Douglas is good. The wages are around 20% higher than the mainland, house prices continually rise, theres 99.7% employment, and there multi million pound clubs and pubs to visit and a quite superb casino.

Downside is that its expensive to go back across.

Try Birmingham.

Its a major city, plenty of bars, clubs and other haunts (a place on Hagley road got closed down last night, my friends were dissapointed) It has major football teams, multicultural, probably the best place to get a curry this side of bombay and the people are friendly. Inner city living is cheap and very affordable and its on the up as a place. I guess what manchester was 10 years ago and what liverpool has been experiencing. Birmingham is lovely.

After brum id say london, with such gd personalities living there like yahwe, tomkat, blasto, dante, t & f and ste, how could you go wrong

I've lived in London for three years. It's shit. Expensive, over-crowded, unpolite, etc.
