2 weeks is the time after which closed accounts are deleted.
why you lot have assumed that deletion means guilty and closed means innocent i will never know.

The point was that it took 2k ticks to close them...so you're either really really careful in closing people (monitoring them for 3 months? heh;)) or the only time it happens is when you get lucky (tipped off, etc).

Since the latter seems to be more likely, I think the "multihunting" unit needs an overhaul. I remember reading (on too many occasions to recall) that top10 planets were 'watched' more closely than the rest...yet one planet managed to stay #1 most of the entire round, only NOW getting deleted...

I simply find it interesting, is all.

Of course they didn't cheat at all during the meat of the round--when it's beneficial--only now at the end, they decided to do it on a whim after their positions were solidified, and one planet was already #1 for most of the round.

This happens so frequently, I can't believe I thought otherwise. Where is my common sense today?!

Of course they should, and usually are. However, that's not the point.

Taking 2k ticks to finally catch/close cheaters is quite simply ridiculous. Think about who those people got their roids from, and how their ships/planets were used throughout the round...there had to have been a significant impact on legitimate players, and that's just not fair.

I think we should be gratefull that they are closed at all. For the 2 k ticks: ofc it might have been possible to close them before, but I would really prefere them to be really sure that a player is a cheater, theen having players closed down earlier.

Kann got picked up in beta-round by KingSmithy I think.. was in their gal.. Kann told he got closed from top10 in r9 aswell, thus it didn't surprise me much that he got closed ;) hehe.. btw, wasn't Kann(UDK) in Eclipse in r9?

Some of the guys that are still in top 10 took roids from ME. I consider them worse than cheaters.

he was, got kicked for cheating, tried to reapply as kann/UDK start of this round, got refused for the obvious reasons and joined fang.
