Until I finsih exams

Today (Tuesday) I have two exams, thursday another and friday my final and last exam.

Ive had one already but this week is the toughie.

My last day/assessment is on Thursday.

Then I'm free.


My biggest worry of the week will be Wednesday night at 7:45pm though.

One in about 5 hours, the others divided between the next two weeks.

Got a big practical exam this thurs then my written exams in about 5 weeks.

Then off round the world for te summer.

Can't complain.

I have my final presentation for work on friday, and a report to finish by next thursday.

I have a horrible feeling I'm going to upset a lot of people by pointing out their complete lack of logic, and the lack of a clear path forward due to absence of basic research.

I do hate being the bearer of bad news :(

My cancer treatment is hopefully going to finish on 23rd June (plus 2 days for chemo hangover). Fingers crossed I'm fighting it hard enough! Hoooo yeah

2 weeks until Equity. Then Ethics, then Employment Law a week later. And International Law to cap it all off a week after that.

I've got exams on Monday, Tuesday and Saturday next week. Thanks to the AUT strike I'm not sure if any are cancelled, the Monday one has been confirmed, but god knows for the other 2.

Christ that is an absoloutely shit timetable, would have been gutted if that had been mine. I don't think I've ever known anyway to get 2 in 1 day in Cardiff.

I had my first exam yesterday which went surprisingly well, another Saturday, then 30th May, 1st, 6th and 10th of June. Worked out almost perfectly for me.

Relations & Networks of Organisations coming up, Labour & Organisation after that, Company law after that one, then some Accounting and Finance, Capital Budgetting and Strategic Decision Management to round it all up and call it summertime.

Study leave started today for me.
Got modular science exams tomorr - multiple choice so they won't be too hard.
Then I have my GCSEs starting next tuesday and lasting for 2 months or so.

My exams finished last Thursday, yet I'm still here in Hell. I'm only a first year, so my exams obviously aren't as important as you guys.

AS-Levels next week, psychology is the main one i'm pretty ****ed about and yet i still try my hardest to avoid revision

Mine only start tomorrow, finish on the 27th. Should be shitting myself but I feel quite calm at the minute.
Probably have loose bowel movements tomorrow though :(

Only thing thats really scaring me is English - need A to get into a private school sixth form (as well as A in some other easy subjects)

A levels are useless once you are doing a degree, a degree is useless once you're doing a masters, a masters is useless once you're doing a phd and that doesnt really matter once you have a job.

At the time of doing them they are important and a stepping stone to the next stage.

They aren't at all.

They're the only national exam(s) that everyone has to take. Your English, Maths and Science are especially important, as are any languages you can stick on your CV.


Which modules? The thing I hated about psychology was that I loved some of the modules (abnormal + social psychology mainly) but some were so goddamn boring (statistics + biological).

My sister's got her psychology too - she did quite well in her statistical and courseworky one, but isn't looking forward to these ones.

Employers actually expect to see as much of your academic history as possible.

I doubt it's that difficult to work out why ...

Its a shit timetable but Im stuck with it. Im quite pleased its all over friday, better over now than lasting for weeks. Both exams went quite well I think so just two more than three weeks of freedom.

My CV just says:

"Studied at GCSE:
English Literature, English Language, Mathematics, Science, Design & Technology (Electronic Products), Geography, History, Latin, French."

Where I think it might be useful, I note my grades in English/Maths/Science (A/A*, A*, AA). It almost never is though, unless I'm running out of places to work and need a job in retail.

my first exam is a week on friday and last exam on 5th june, and got 5 total

my first and last are well spaced, but the 3 in the middle are 31,1,2 which is quite shit

What nonsense. Do you realise how many numpties are given out degrees? Many emloyees want to see a detailed history of your academic achievements, I'd wonder why if they didn't...

Also, extending the 'logic' you presented above, I suppose when a post-doc publishes some new research, this makes all his previous (including that possibly carried out at undergraduate, masters and phd level) useless?

abnormal, social, research methods and physiological. abnormal and social are interesting, yes but i've pretty much missed half the lessons on these 4 units due to well sleeping in lessons, illnesses etc.. so this is more learning the first time than revision :(

Got Criminal Law out of the way today. I might put up some of the questions at some point. It went fairly well, only one really bad question on deception offences.
