Now everyone's waiting for more information. There was a bomb on a bus and a bomb/collision on the underground, which now has a lot of people evacuated. I think everyone's waiting to find out who is responsible. My dad is in London somewhere. Fun.

Im in london now, got evacuated at Liverpool street. Its a bit chaotic out there, I work just round the corner from the bomb blast at russell square, sirens havent stopped since 9am. Apparently this is a major terrorist incident and from what I saw at Liverpool street station that is what the authorities thought from the very start. Its not a power problem.

All the mobiles I've tried phoning this morning can't get through. So either the network's jammed with callers or the networks have been shut down as a security measure.

Agreed

They targeted the tubes to make everyone get the buses, and those buses that were used to divert the travellers from the blown up stations were bombed. So either way those people were going to be bombed.

Well some guy on sky news is attempting to draw comparisions to Madrid and trying to say it could be Bin Ladan and Co. without naming any names. this seems unlikely though.

Well, everyone's repeating the same thing over and over and waiting for more news. I did hear (as mentioned above) that someone said that "arab sources strongly suggested it was Al Qaeda" but that was the only thing I've heard. I've turned it off now tbh, though I might turn it back on so I can see what Tony has to say

To expand on my last post. five news are reporting that the MET have confirmed that theres been 5 blasts on the tube and 1 on a bus. Considering theres reports of 3 busses which were involved in explosions would suggest theres atleast 8

It would seem that they have gone out to kill people, the experts on all the channels are saying that they could have killed hundreds if not thousands if they had wanted. It would seem more they wanted to basically shut london down rather than looking for casualties

I was shitting myself a hour or so ago when i first heard of this because my mum works around liverpool street :(. Called her up and she's fine though. What a ****ing relief that is.
