starts friday night, but just consider that first match a bonus for prompt predictors rather than a reason not to enter if you're reading this on saturday :)
The overall competition will be an attempted mix between league and knockout systems, (possibly with the knockout ending in the semi-final and the winner meeting the league winner in the final) Anyhoo, leagues like this sometimes attract the impulse predictor; hopefully we can drag one or two over to the regular leagues where numbers are getting thin :( If you're "new", just quote the fixture list, fill in the blanks, and I'll do the rest. and now, a little nostalgia... the scoring system for those that don't know
for each match... 1 point 'G' for being generally right, ie you chose the right winner but the wrong score 2 points 'G+B' for correctly predicting a draw, again with the wrong score 3 points 'X' for getting the score exactly right 3 points 'G+2B' for a generally right longshot win (when less than approx. 20% of other predictors also predicted correctly for that match) 4 points 'X+B' for an exact draw 5 points 'X+2B' (or possibly even more) for an exact longshot win. The number of bonus points awarded is the number of goals scored by the winning team +1. |

bastard isn't a swearword in america from what i understand, and i would assume (although i could be wrong) that whatever censor was applied was provided for a single english type, rather than having seperate english/american english settings.
either that or JJ removed it from the censor... one of the two |
