Planetarion news crew is proud to presents it's latest creation. A new concept for all planetarion players. New PA Panel Where you ask the questions that the community answers.

what is the Planetarion Panel?
The planetarion Panel is there to answer your questions u might have about planetarion and all what that holds.

Is it like Creators houre ?
No it is not as the panel members will not be PA admins but alliance admins or renowned players.

So what kind of questions will be handled there ?
All kinds from alliance issues to game issues. If you have any questions towards gameplay. The panel is here to resolve issues !


General Information

The panel will be weekly in the channel #portal on netgamers. There will be a bot present where spectators can submit questions. But you can also submit your questions in advance by emailing [email protected] with the reference PA Panel.

The Log of the pilot episode will be made public on the portal comments so you can preview.

The Panel itself will consist of people who submit their application ( must be motivated ). That application must be sent to [email protected] .
This before Friday the 13th at 23.59 GMT.

How will this work?

The panel members who represent the community will be voiced and the moderator opped. We will use the same method as CH. Then the Panel members will give their view on the matter while the person who asked the question is voiced aswell to give some feedback. And of course devoiced when we have answered the question.

rules of conduct

1) No nickchanging during the PA Panel.
2) No pming the panel members
3) do not start asking questions which arent relevant.
4) All panel members will let the other member finish his/her sentances before replying
5) other irc rules apply

well with 900 payed and 800 freebies we sure need more admin stuff going on.

it cant be that much for ya to do with a 20 ppl support crew and 10 admins?

I cant see the point in this tbh. The people in #support are more than capable of answering most questions and those that they cant can be asked in Creators Hours or #support members can find out for them.

Wouldn't it be much better simply to have a FAQ section on the portal where questions that are asked frequently could be posted by #support and the answer given

Also if there's any specific alliance questions all alliances have public channels with people who will answer questions about their alliance

I dont think you are quite understanding the point of this. The way i understand it is that its a PA version of newsnight where the panel can debate things.

Whatever people want to ask them really... suppose it coud be in game features, recent alliance politics, anything PA related i suppose.

So basically it is just <insert planetarion forums topic here> ported over to IRC? Sounds not that useful to be honest. But if people want to do that, feel free to do, I am curious if it'll work out.

I suppose its just another string to the bow really, if it doesnt work out then it wont continue (on the portal anyway) and if it does it will. Gotta try new things :)

The idea here is to get questions answered not by the pa team but by community members on community issues.

Once again shyne you have proved how you can totally miss the point. The people who are involved in running this or who will be involved by being on the panel itself are totally separate from the people working on the game. For example, i do not have coding skills, so i help PA in other ways.

as previously stated this is not a pa team event...this is something set up and being organised by the members of the community whom are trying to give something back by running a news section for the portal.

so please...dont lay presumptions like you obviously seem to have done without getting all the facts correctly first

I guess the answer to that depends on what you mean by player, but in the PA interpretation, about the only person you can consistently beat is me. :crymeariver:

I wouldnt call your amazing ability to lose more roids than anyone else in the universe during any given round qualifies as knowing the game! :crymeariver:
