Ok folks. Some members of the forums have decided to call it a day in recent weeks.

I can completely understand their decision. GD has become a place in which posters think they are popular columnists working for a top newspaper.

They are mistaken.

I have been around here for a while now, under a number of guises as some of you know. I have been at either end of the spectrum - with much negative rep, and despised to the point of banning.... to where I am today - attaining loads of rep in 200 posts.

I no longer feel the need to type this URL into my browser.

I am going to join the ranks of Flavius and the other jokers and make my leave from this place. If you can't have a laugh any more - it isn't worth it.

Someone gets banned for posting a few news articles, yet people are allowed to post facist comments such as this: http://pirate.planetarion.com/showpo...9&postcount=10 and this: http://pirate.planetarion.com/showpo...3&postcount=40 and this: http://pirate.planetarion.com/showpo...5&postcount=91 and more.

This place has been tarred by the likes of an apparent circle jerk crew which has formed around Yahwe and is pumping at full pelt.

In order to get deleted as quickly as possible follow these three easy steps:

1. Post 10 Threads with the title 'EASY FREE SCAT PORN' with a link to scatbabes in the thread (I wont provide the link because I do not want to be deleted).
2. Create a Gimmick account called 'SCATBABE'
3. Using the the new gimmick account repeat step 1.

You should now be deleted and I.P. banned.

It's unfortunate he doesn't like some of the more controversial humour (I noticed you didn't care about rape or pedophilia jokes though?), but apart from that I think he slots in nicely :(

I'm quite fond of Arachnidman.

I still like the forums and quite a few of its memebers but recently the forums have become polarised which reduces my enjoyment to such an extent where the enjoyable posts don't outweight the shit-throwing posts (a few are humorous but recently there's been an influx of i'm-in-a-bad-mood-and-damnit-i'm-going-to-bring-it-on-the-internet-and-call-everyone-****s-****-you). I'd also like to spend my time not being inflicted to the aforementioned shit-throwing (not that it's aimed at me i'm just sick of reading it) and doing something more productive. One is waiting for Jonny to ban/delete me and ban my IP address so I'm not tempted to spend more time here.

Actually there have been some times I thought about quitting GD as well, because, it's not all untrue what the quitters are whining about, there is a great sense of unequality over here, and saying there is by no means any form of circle jerking over here wouldn't sound very credible.

Flavius was banned for signing up a gimmick account and posting shit copies of news stories on the boards in what can only be described as deliberate trolling or spamming. If people complain about texan doing that then what do you expect if you sign up an entire account for that sort of shit? I will miss flavius and weeks (possibly even spiderman). Only JJ has the ability to delete accounts so I guess I'll just sit around here waiting for him.

I'm torn between the loss of a couple of posters who made occasionally amusing posts and the absolute faggotry of asking for their accounts to be deleted (not including Weeks, who seems to have some sort of genuine reason for leaving) like they just couldn't stay away.

Arachnidman, as I've said before, is a good poster. I hope he doesn't leave (but in future avoids 'rebel without a clue' threads like this one and his rep renounciation). I honestly don't see newspaper columnist style posts or a circle around Yahwe. He's more than capable of 'doing his thing' unsupported and has achieved the 'poster you love to hate' status that Arachnidman couldn't manage.

I'm all in favour of the funny, and it is sometimes in short supply, but what Flavius was doing shat on the good name of comedy. A newsbot posting news, and a parody of Texan weeks after it was topical - and we're supposed to wail "oh no a 'joker' is being oppressed?".

If there is a core these days, it's a circle of reasonableness, a growing group of good-natured posters whose maturity outweighs the diminishing and juvenile negativity that occasionally abounds.

The third and final threatened departure is one of these people, and thus one most here will hope comes to nothing... Weeks. Requesting deletion (because of temptation to revisit) implies you don't really want to leave. The best way to leave GD is through gradual disaffection, increasingly infrequent visits where you find nothing of value to read and cba to contribute until you fade away.

Anyway, Flavius will return tonight with a jovial 'sup like nothing ever happened.
