Oldstyle galaxybanners
 

Howdy.

Some of you might know that some years ago I had a rather large collection of planetarion related banners from most of the larger alliances.

Sadly the web host I had at that time went belly up and this was lost forever due to i had lost the hdd I had saved em on locally 2 weeks earlier, and didn't think I had to worry about backup of the website just yet.....


Anyhow, if anyone still has banners from the "golden era" lying around, please give me a shout, and I will gladly store them for future generations.


This time I'm hosting it myself until I find a 100% secure web host and where I will run backups every 12h to a server I have myself.

Not that many people will care but there are some fun banners from the Ðragonlands galaxy in r6 @ http://www.edu.lahti.fi/~akilpine/DragonLands/

Just had a check through my HD and cant find any of the proper alliance banners from back then though, sorry!

KoeN posted a couple of oldstyle 'Fight the Legion' pictures in that thread, but it's on the pia forums so this link may or may not be censored (and thus not work).

Edit: Yeah, it doesn't. I'll send the link in pm and hope it's not censored there too!

Rnd4 and rnd5 had some nice banner's

ill try to find our old baner from rnd4 280:23...

Also if anyon got BigDogs banner from rnd3

I have almost 200 on my pc if you want them. They are mainly ViruS ones but there is about 50 from other random alliances like hirr/Seraphim/pack etc... Missing all the old Fury and Legion though.

gallery is slow , but thats cause im hosting it athome.
Want to build up collection before i host em elsewhere with hourly sync to the server.
Not loosing them again :D

Fury Phoenix Round 4
Fury Dragon Round 5-7
MS Round 6
MS Round 7
MS Round 9

I used to have a lot of older MS/Fury ones but when my laptop HD died I lost a lot of Planetarion related stuff including Cayl's speech to Fury in Round 4. If anyone has a copy of that it'd be much appreciated !

Hicks i used to love the old mercury and solace banner that was like a solitary tree in moonlight or somethin. Still have that?

spent ages looking through these now. great initiative Allfather :)
Miss all those alliances, and the banners, and coords with c200-300. :p

But, isnt it about time that someone remove the ban from p.l.a.n.e.t.i.a?
That game is hardly a threat anymore, is it? One thing is to advertise about it, another is to ban the word.. not like there is so much action on these forums that a mod can remove it if thats the case.
no biggie though, just annoyed me to type in the name in the urls and so on :(

I agree, there was no advertisement intended, nor should anyone consider pia a threat as it's playerbase is down to what? 400? and most players who are serious about playing either play pa or can't stand pa....

I was allowed at the time to setup hinchles though as it was non associated iirc :)

r3 - r4 when all the dos attacks and such came in worked with vish to stop them and re-secure the servers

My rnd 2 galaxy had a great one with Kylie's arse on it. Wish i'd kept it but that is many computers ago

I still have a rather large directory called "pa backups" with various banners from round 2 - 7.
I'll see if I can upload it one of these days.

Legion gallery also had/has a few, but i think it be a wee bit broken :)
