I've got problems with the cowboy trio, the yellow guy leaning in front of the Jaws poster, the pink scissors, The two guys in black, the guys on the roof, the green mountain in the background, the thing in the balcony, and the two angel type creatures.

Papa roach = the roach in the poster.

The darkened ally (also The Shadows is found there) = The Darkness?

Two kissing sexy girls = Tatu ?

Yeah I know but I need to solve the last ones :(

Maybe the black thing in the poster isn't a roach. So what is it?

Seal!

MrL_JaKiri 28 Nov 2005 15:32

Re: ' exercise your music muscle'

And Velvet Revolver? Pet Shop Boys? I think you've just randomly stabbed at most of these.

Marilyn Manson 28 Nov 2005 15:36

Re: ' exercise your music muscle'

I'd prefer to excercise my love muscle.

SilverSmoke 28 Nov 2005 15:37

Re: ' exercise your music muscle'

The penis isn't a muscle.

Marilyn Manson 28 Nov 2005 15:39

Re: ' exercise your music muscle'

Are you trying to out-pedant Jakiri in this thread or something?

The woman showing as Queen is holding what refers to Velvet Revolver. Velvet is a bright color, isn't it?

SilverSmoke 28 Nov 2005 15:49

Re: ' exercise your music muscle'

there are 72 bands in this picture, because Jakiri only sees 4 doesn't mean there are 4

Re: ' exercise your music muscle'

Crowded House?

Manic Street Preachers?

SilverSmoke 28 Nov 2005 17:08

Re: ' exercise your music muscle'

I think Crowded house is in there yes.

The Manic street preachers you mean the bunch of preacher type people dressed in white on the street? I thought about All Saints but i think yours is better :)

Obliterate 28 Nov 2005 17:12

Re: ' exercise your music muscle'

Yeah I did mean those guys :P

Also I think the 2 guys in black in the middle could be The Killers. Not sure though.

SilverSmoke 28 Nov 2005 17:13

Re: ' exercise your music muscle'

Blues Brothers?

Obliterate 28 Nov 2005 17:22

Re: ' exercise your music muscle'

Ah yeah could be that too....hmm....

The hill in the background is probably Cypress Hill

What the mother of **** are you talking about? Just because I can't immediately tell you all the answers doesn't mean any band you pick out of the air is correct. The number of times you've gone back and said "Whoops, made a mistake" shows that you haven't been thinking this through very well.

eg. the Jefferson Airplane one, referring to the B52's in the picture. Is what I quoted earlier a sign that you've realised you're utterly and totally wrong with the "Jefferson Airplane" inclusion, or have you failed to notice that there is a band called The B52s?
eg2. "Gorillaz" vs "Guano Apes"

No Guano, no Jefferson. "No" to inclusion.

Velvet is fabric variety you numpty, not a colour, and those "guns" are already being used for "The Sex Pistols", which is an interpretation which makes perfect sense.

This isn't ****ing word association.

Re: ' exercise your music muscle'

The coin, the logo on it, could it be the Ramones? (I know it's 50 Cent)

SilverSmoke 28 Nov 2005 18:16

Re: ' exercise your music muscle'

Yeah I already corrected Jefferson into B52, I just wanted to reply in speed as I saw it as some kind of contest and expected a lot of people being busy on it right now but i guess i am the only one with a dull job and free internet access so mommy please forgive me for my sins :( man I didn't know I was hurting your feelings :(

Besides that, most of the names I shouted out are correct I believe.

This picture is in "The Sun" or "Daily Sport" forget which.

Just saw it over a pub a few minutes ago.

I await someone to scan in the answers!

Re: ' exercise your music muscle'

i've found the answers, but posting them in here would be dull imo.

That seems less likely, as the other references tend to be related to the names of the band, rather than what the band looks like.
