Most people coming here probably already know why an you want an ally but just incase...
Allies:
:bunny:Attack together giving them lots more chance of landing attacks.
:bunny:Usually have some kind of set up so as to provide some level of scan access for its members.
:bunny:In many cases defend each other across the universe.
And.. maybe most importantly..
:bunny:Hang out with each other and chat in their free time becoming friends.

Now a lot of allies forget one or even more of the key features of an alliance, however, ASS provides all the points.
:bunny:Attack targets are put up at a similar time every night so that all members have a chance to come on and select where they would like to hit to join the attack.
:bunny:Scanners are arranged to be on during the 'nights' to give aid finding out what your incoming hostiles are and also scans are made available at a similar time every morning so as you can sign on at one time in the morning reliably to pick up your attack scans to decide if to pull your attacks or not.
:bunny:Defence is encouraged and all members are offered help to improve their ability to understand their incomings and and how to help each other in defending. A points system is applied so that those with the best defence activity are those that are first defended in the harshest ticks of the round. The best DCs and defenders of the ally each round receive free credits for the next round in ASS.
:bunny:Finally, ASS is known for being the friendliest alliance in PA.. tho ofc this is only an opinion. We hang out together online, play other games together and all questions, whether for PA related to help you improve your games or just about random other stuff, are always welcomed by the community. We enjoy hanging out so much that we have regular meet ups around the world... anyone in ASS this round feel free to ask where and when the next meetup is available for you to join.

On IRC... go to #ASSpublic and talk to anyone with an @ at the start of their name or a star.

If you need help with working IRC and want to join ASS then apply ingame in your alliances tab to ASS and include in your application that you need some pointers for starting on irc and we'll lead you thru getting through to join ur team mates online.

It just wouldn't be a round of PA without a puss, a dragon, a serial rapist and a hairy biker. No better place to be imo...and I'll see a few of you in Dublin next weekend :D

What is ASS?
ASS is an ally mainly for fun. We offer a place for starters and experienced players. If you want action and fun, a nice community and answers to your questions/ how to play, ASS is for you. If you want big wars, everlasting-lack-of-sleep-causing-you-to-take-drugs-to-stay-awake, and no noobs in the ally, then you better look further:p

WE ASK:
We don't ask much from you, just to participate in ally attacks and send out defense. We work with a point system in order to keep receiving defense yourself, but it's easy to receive those. We appreciate defense during night, but we also grant you enough sleep.

YOU GET:
Daily gal-attacks with targets for big and smaller planets, guided teamups if needed, updated scans on targets eta-2.
Feel free to ask questions, there's always someone around to help you.
We have our own attack webby, forums and bot with also some amusement and even humour (yeah, the AI is awesome )

But most of all, we want you to have fun and a place to spend (to many of) your time with your fellow smurfs. And that all with the pleasure of a nice drink and snack, all according your own taste
